About Me

Who Am I? I could say that I am a Native of Hispaniola--Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I could say that I am the first and only child of my Mother's and for some time was the third and last child of my Father's. I could add that my favorite roles are that of a wife to the most wonderful man designed for me and that of a mother to a perfectly packaged baby boy. I could chronologize my studies from Lilliput Kindergarten, St. Therese de L'Enfant Jesus, Nautilus Middle School, Plantation High School, Broward College, University of South Florida and Columbia University School of Social Work. I could say that I was raised Catholic and completed my First Communion and Confirmation. However, made a personal faifhful decision to be baptized into the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in 2006. I could even describe my tempermental sentiments--from an overachieving controlling perfectionist to a lazy, sensitive, shy and fearful risk-taker. Perhaps even list trivial things such as butterflies, horses, sun, nature, the color purple, the smell of lavender, the sound of rain, the taste of chocolate, the texture of opening and turning the pages of a book, the feeling of someone playing with my hair...

But none of these are ME! They are just part of me, roles I play, events that occurred and things I enjoy. I am a combination of all of these and at times none at all. I am my thoughts, I am my biggest accomplishment and my worse critic. I am a simple enigma and yet a completely predictable perspicuity. I am a highbrow, a dreamer, an aspired hedonist. I guess what I am trying to say is that I am simply Being, none other than Me!
